The first thing I noticed before leaving, was the front passenger Door Edge Protector was not working properly (so much for Ford quality control), however, this was fixed when the spare parts arrived a month later, suprisingly, it took the mechanic 2hrs to fix. isetta. If desperate to get it working you could do a work around and wire up the fan to a switch on the dashboard and switch it on and off manually when needed. Iv done the obvious and checked the switches, they all give good continuity when pressed nd don't seem to be shorting, iv disconnected the tailgate switch as suggested and no dice 4294 posts · Joined 2007. #15 · Jan 11, 2010. mostly sorted now it was because when i removed my heated seat plugs i cut the illumination wires for the switch and forgot about em :shocked: whilst i was putting the facelift dash in :tonofbricks: so thet were touching i think as iv covered em up and now it all works. .
